On most training courses there comes a point where theory needs to be put into practice. Roleplay sessions provide an excellent opportunity for participants to explore skills in a practical way and within a safe environment. Making mistakes within this framework can be considered part of the learning process.
Experienced actors bring a high level of realism to the roleplay encouraging
the participants to take the scenario seriously. Most importantly, a
professional has the ability to store a host of detailed information about the
whole process and relay it back to the participants and/or facilitators in
feedback sessions, if required.
